MyLunos Duo® combines two of the most important treatment methods for a prophylaxis session: powder jet and ultrasound. The combination device enables complete prophylactic treatment using only one device – from the supra- and subgingival removal of calculus and concrement with ultrasound through to removal of discolouration and biofilm with the powder jet. 

Powder Jet

The MyLunos Duo® combination device’s powder jet function enables thorough powder jet application with the appropriate nozzle and prophylaxis powder – both sub- and supragingival. The coordinated components and functions ensure the best possible results and are particularly gentle and comfortable for patients.

Ultrasound

The ultrasound function of the MyLunos Duo® table-top device, the slim and lightweight Scaler handpiece with LED light and a wide range of instruments enable thorough suband supragingival concrement and calculus removal. Depending on the instrument used, the appropriate power setting can easily be selected via the touchscreen display.

Lunos Prophy Powders

The Lunos® Prophy powders Gentle Clean and Perio Combi are available for the MyLunos Duo®. The innovative abrasive agent Trehalose is highly water-soluble. The powder tastes pleasantly sweet taste yet is not cariogenic; it leaves no powder residues in the patient‘s mouth and protects the oral mucosa.
