Vanessa Street

Business Development Manager – Orthodontics

Vanessa brings over 35 years of experience in Orthodontics to Henry Schein, including product sales, sourcing, education and laboratory work. Vanessa knows orthodontics and is seen as a highly respected source of knowledge and advice within the industry. She has always been at the forefront of this speciality when it comes to finding new products and techniques. Vanessa has developed her knowledge and understanding of the profession to a level that enables her to interact with clinicians at a professional level.

An avid sports fan, she has been a West Coast Eagles supporter since they joined the AFL in 1987, undoubtedly a consequence of being born and growing up in Perth. However, her love of sport does not end with AFL, a committed supporter of the Australian Cricket Team and a huge fan of Motorsport, particularly MotoGP.

Kat Woods

QLD Orthodontic category specialist

Born as one of identical triplets, Kat was raised in Manchester in the UK and brings with her to Henry Schein, 26 years’ experience in the Dental industry. Kat, truly a delightful force of nature, has worked in all facets of the dental landscape however, midway through her journey she developed an interest in Orthodontics. Thirsty for knowledge and driven by her developing passion, Kat obtained a diploma in Orthodontic Therapy from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2010.

Six years on, Kat and her husband migrated to Australia, she took up where she left off and continued to work in the field of Orthodontics. Originally working hands on in a practice, 7 years ago, Kat took on her current role in the field of sales and support for Orthodontic Specialists. She has become highly regarded as an educator in the implementation of new products and techniques into Orthodontic Practices.

Kat, her husband and daughter have fully embraced the Australian lifestyle and enjoy exploring new places. She loves spending time with family and friends and has a Doberman which keeps her active.

Katie Pickles

Orthodontic Sales Specialist

As a Sales Specialist in orthodontics and aligners, Katie brings over 16 years of experience within the dental industry. Her journey commenced with qualifying as a dental nurse in the UK in 2008, which ignited her passion for the field. Throughout her career, she’s dedicated herself to supporting clinicians in enhancing patient care and practice efficiency. Her expertise lies in understanding the intricate nuances of orthodontic treatments and aligner solutions, enabling her to provide tailored recommendations and strategic insights to dental professionals. With a proven track record of success and a genuine enthusiasm for the dental industry, she is deeply invested in empowering clinicians to achieve their goals and deliver exceptional care whilst fostering lasting partnerships along the way.

Tina Saffioti

Orthodontics Category Specialist

Tina studied Bachelor of Oral Health and Master of Business Management at University of Sydney. She found her passion for orthodontics early in her career and published a textbook by Wiley & Sons named ‘Orthodontics for Dental Hygienists and Dental Therapists’ to help clinicians learn and enjoy the fundamentals of orthodontics. Tina is passionate about working with dental practices to help build their business with orthodontics, and give the gift of smile to their patients. In her spare time, Tina enjoys reading, pilates and exploring new cafes and restaurants.

Ener Martinez

VIC Orthodontic category specialist

Ener Martinez has been into the Orthodontic industry for more than 10 years, having worked in multimarket environments and Countries/Continents: Spain, UK and Central Europe as well as Latin America. She joined Henry Schein in 2022 as a Category Specialist in Ortho & Aligners. Ener is a curios person that enjoys learning and exploring the latest innovations within the Orthodontics Industry. She has been very fortunate to work with Drs from very diverse cultures and she likes to share with the team her anecdotic experiences in other Countries.

In her personal life, and being a proud Latin-American woman, she loves summer and the beach vibes; enjoy dancing, talking to people and spend quality time with her son and husband who loves outdoor sports and travel.

Kristy Ross

QLD Orthodontic category specialist

Kristy comes with 30 year’s experience in the dental industry. Her career started at the very young age of 15 where she was successful in securing a role as a part time dental assistant. From there, Kristy’s dental career grew at a rapid pace including roles as a clinical co-ordinator when she then moved into an Orthodontic practice. Kristy became a crucial part of the team as a treatment co-ordinator then promoted to practice manager. Kristy made the move from Sydney to the Gold Coast with her family and an opportunity arose for her in a corporate organisation as a Regional Operations Manager responsible for 30+ practices including specialists and general dentists for over 10 years. Kristy was very excited to join Henry Shein and add value in the Orthodontic and Aligner category. In her spare time, Kristy can be found exploring the country with her husband and two boys.
