Durr Dental has brought together successful, tried and tested technologies to create the VistaCam iX. For depth of field and image quality, this camera meets all the requirements for fully digital image transmission. The interchangeable head mechanism allows for the unit to be used for four separate functions. Whether users require macro or intraoral images, the VistaCam supports them - even in the diagnosis of caries. In the DBSWIN imaging software, caries and plaque filters show caries activity using a colour scale with numerical evaluation between 0 and 3. This makes the system ideal for early detection of caries and the visualisation of plaque. And now a curing light head has also been added to the range of camera heads.
