The KaVo Protective Covers and KaVo Hygiene Bags were created in order to ensure the optimal clinical results, safe use of the system and long service life for the imaging plates.  Proper use of original hygiene accessories guarantees the best image quality and maximum service life of the imaging plates.

The imaging plate is protected with a protective cover and a hygiene bag before the exposure.  Protective cover and hygiene bag are protecting the plate from:

• Ambient light

• Contamination

• Mechanical wearing

• Moisture
