From Worn to Refined: Injectable Composite Veneers with Luna Flow

OVERVIEW:

Patient attended with worn anterior dentition and teeth with uneven shade due to transparency. The patient wanted a rejuvenated smile with even shade & shapes. Luna Flow was chosen for the desired viscosity, polishability and shade.

Digital design and work up was completed with lab driven by facial aesthetics. A clear stent allowed Luna Flow 2XB to be injected with the alternate tooth technique.
Tidy up was completed with red band burs and final polish utilised Eve polishing burs, diamond polishing paste and a hair polishing wheel.

OUTCOME:

  • Improved symmetry and tooth proportions
  • Enhanced opacity and shade uniformity
  • High gloss, natural looking finish

The patient reported high satisfaction with the aesthetic result.

MAINTENANCE:

  • 6 month recall recommended
  • Annual repolishing to maintain lustre and longevity

MATERIAL SELECTION:

Luna Flow (2XB shade) was selected for its:

  • Optimal viscosity - allows controlled injection through stent
  • High polishability - achieves enamel like surface lustre
  • Shade characteristics - improves opacity in worn dentition.
